Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a structured, evidence-based therapy designed to help people process and recover from distressing life experiences and trauma. When something overwhelming happens, the brain can sometimes store the memory in a way that keeps it feeling raw and present. EMDR helps the brain reprocess these memories so they become less emotionally intense and easier to live with.

During EMDR therapy, we gently focus on aspects of a difficult memory while using guided bilateral stimulation (such as eye movements or tapping). This process supports the brain’s natural ability to process information and can help reduce the emotional charge connected to past events.

EMDR is widely used to treat trauma and post-traumatic stress, but it can also help with anxiety, low self-esteem, phobias, and the lasting effects of difficult experiences. Many people find that EMDR helps them feel less stuck in the past, gain new perspectives on what happened, and move forward with greater emotional freedom and resilience.

I offer EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy for people aged 18+, to help you heal from trauma, anxiety, and emotional challenges. This evidence-based approach uses guided eye movements and other techniques to help you process distressing memories, reduce their emotional impact, and move forward with greater peace and clarity. In our sessions, I provide a safe, supportive environment where you can explore your experiences at your own pace. If you’re ready to break free from the weight of past challenges, EMDR can be a powerful tool for healing and personal growth.

Costs are £75.00 per session. Sessions are available via online video call.
